A brief history of our community clinic
Founding
Our clinic was founded in 1995 by two RMTs, Susan & Alexander. After meeting in class and being members of one of the first RMT graduating cohorts, Susan & Alexander decided to open Port Coquitlam Therapeutic Massage together. Together they opened one of the very first Massage Therapy clinics in the Tri-cities. With a focus on professionalism and a community approach they worked to build a solid reputation and referral system with other health professionals.
Recent past
Each time a change in policy or acceptance of registered massage therapy was made our clinic has been quick to adopt. Billing to RCMP, DVA, MSP and ICBC were all quickly adopted by our clinic and have been offered to our clients as soon as they were announced as available.
In 2009 Josh joined the team and steadily built a practice of clients across many aspects of soft tissue injury. Our website was built and online scheduling was added to assist our clients in making the task of getting to your massage as easy as possible.
Alexander decided in 2015 it was time to retire. After a long and fruitful career he moved on to enjoy time with his family and the beautiful scenery of the lower mainland.
In 2017 Sarah joined are team and has been one of the hardest working members the clinic has ever had. Her loyal clients are always eager to recommend her and she helps a large number of injured clients on a weekly basis.

Today and the Future
Currently we strive to maintain our roots as a community led Massage and Wellness clinic. Our clients come from throughout our community and different walks of life. Our goal is to always provide "safe, effective and reliable health care" and to address our clients needs on a case-per-case basis.
